| Fall Communiqué |
Life can seem uncertain and disconcerting with its constant change
and unknown factors. And during this time of overseas fighting and
mayhem, and with much division surrounding election issues, one can
only wonder if the earth will ever know true peace? What is peace for
an individual? Might peace be a position of seeing the commonality
that is shared by all sentient beings and all of existence? Could peace
also be described as accepting "what is" from one moment to the next,
because there is profound understanding as to what and who is
responsible for "what is" in one's life? What is the source for this
insightful understanding, which helps one to be so allowing? Perhaps
it is that which is infinitely present and certain.
There is something that is alive everywhere, so much so, that it can
seem hidden from view. Some call this thing Consciousness or God.
It peers out from all eyes, seeing and sensing, breathing all breaths,
thinking all thoughts and speaking all words. When we become quiet
we can dissolve into the stillness to know it is us. Do you think peace
can be found any other way? There is always Supreme refuge in that
which is infinitely present and certain.
May we be accepting of all things, and realize that which is the Source
this thing we call our life.
