| Acceptance |
Life can seem uncertain and disconcerting with its constant
change and unknown factors. During these times of extremes
with economy, racial and religious fighting and natural
disasters one can only wonder if the earth will ever know true
peace? Perhaps it is more about individual peace first and
always than collective peace. Might peace be a position of
accepting "what is" from one moment to the next and allowing
life to be as it is without judging it as good or bad? What is
the source for this insightful understanding, which helps one
to be so allowing? Perhaps it is the unchanging Source itself
moving within you and without you.
There is something that is alive everywhere, so much so, that
it can seem hidden from view. Some call this thing
Consciousness or Source. It peers out from all eyes, seeing
and sensing, breathing all breaths, thinking all thoughts and
speaking all words. When we become quiet we can dissolve
into the stillness to know it is us. Do you think peace can be
found any other way? There is refuge in that which is infinite
and non-changing.
May we be accepting of all things, and realize that which is the
Source this thing we call our life.
