Life can be a challenge. The ups and downs of life might never stop coming no matter how awakened we
become. Challenge, or opposing forces, is part of being alive. The perspective that we hold when the
challenges arise will help us to either ride the wave or drown beneath it. If we hold or practice holding, a
more awakened perspective that all is as it should be, the waves will appear less dramatic and allow for a
more graceful ride through the soul's destined life. When we find ourselves drowning beneath the waves,
we need to reach out for a lifeline, so we can transcend from identifying with the ‘me’ or body/ego
personality who is drowning, to True Self, who is the Eternal Cosmic Surfer and rider of waves. The lifeline to
True Self can be as simple as a walk in nature, inspirational words or deep meditation and prayer. Let
yourself be guided to the way that will work best for you to connect and shift into the infinite. The Infinite is
everywhere and is everything, so the ways are infinitely varied!
Let go and feel the emotion and move through it. If we hold the perspective that whatever is happening is
wrong and should not be happening we will torture ourselves and continue the spiral downward, all the while
wondering why we are being challenged and how it could have been prevented. We are conditioned to
blame ourselves or someone else for what is happening, rather than accepting the happening as part of life’
s perfection and needs to be happening.
What would life be if we accepted what happened as necessary, so destiny could continue to unfold as it is
meant to? In other words, we would live more fully from the Source’s perception, seeing life as perfect the
way it is in every moment. This perspective does not need to stop us from taking action, but will bring us a
deeper peace and clarity from which action can spring forth.
If we ride above the waves we will keep from getting battered, swallowing water, being confused and not
flowing and enjoying the ride of life. I wish for you all a more graceful ride through the big waves.
